plays a good range of music most nights, very cheap drinks with discounts on certain nights , even a 10er goes a long way, usually free entry, hosts in rock we trust playing a good selection of laid back tunes and good atmosphere, a great place!

is defintely geared towards students so you get what you expect really... The metropole is a little different though and thats pleasing :) Nice, simple layout good tunes and the bar wait times are good! It's right at the start of my usual 'crawl route' so if I'm not starting the evening at Bar Vin, I will prob be starting it here.
