1812

On the 24th of April 1812, the founder of Bournemouth Captain Lewis Tregonwell took up residence in his newly built mansion. It would be the first house of the town of Bournemouth as we know it today.

The mansion of late Captain Tregonwell is now home to Club 1812. A vibrant new bar on Exeter Road.

Club 1812 strives to produce a friendly and relaxed enviroment for its members and the general public. It is rapidly becoming known for its high quality cocktails and live music.

For those who enjoy listening to jazz music, 1812 is a place not to miss. There are often live bands playing not only jazz, but blues, funk and soul are also on the repetoir.

1812 is opened every day from 5pm onwards and live music is played on Friday and Saturday night. The live bands will be playing from 10pm onwards and the entry to 1812 is free.
