EMPIRE CLUB

Empire Club in Bournemouth is especially popular amongst exchange students. It was previously called Alcatraz. There are three floors each with its own bar and with different kind of music.

Floor one and two usually play R&B, Hip Hop and '70s and '80s tunes, whereas the third floor is filled with salsa and merengue music, which attracts many latin music loving people.

Students usually get free entry to the club and Imperial Club often offers drinks promotions (£1.50 drinks). Check out some of the guest DJs from South American countries such as Venezuela and Colombia and make sure you'll wear your most sensuous party outfit to Empire Club!

Times i have been to th club with mates ive been impressed. Top floor is always the chillout zone,generally good atmosphere. I love this club, every time i have been to an event here, i've thoroughly enjoyed myself! So have my girlfriends- its great in the summer, the staff are friendly, there's a great atmosphere too, safe and relaxing. this place is shit, only open to kids parties as no one is willing to pay an entry fee. Would recommend bournemout gardens over this any day of the week. This club is also known for is gay activities on fridays, stay away unless you wanna go out for a bender. (read more)
