THE OPERA HOUSE
The Opera House is the only nightclub venue in Boscombe and is well known amongst locals. Once known as the Boscombe Grand Theatre in 1895, it was host to variety programmes with singing, dancing and comedy.
Since 1994 it is named the Opera House and has had nominations for Best Large Venue, Best Club and Best Club Venue and Best Discotheque amongst many. The inside still gives you the feeling of walking around in an opera theatre.
The Opera House fits about 2200 people is now home to different events such as Bolts, Slinky, Rubber Soul and Live music nights (get yourself a ticket!).
If you're in the Boscombe area you've most likely been to the Opera House before. If not, it's definitely worth the peak!
The Opera House has undergone redevelopment in 2007 and is now fully functional again as a live venue and a host to many large dance events.

its the first time i have ever been to the opera house in bournemouth and that was to watch paul weller live,, the venue was amazing,, the sound of the live music was the second best to the royal albert hall,, outstanding.. (read more)
