Walkabout Bournemouth is part of the famous Walkabout pub group, originating in Australia. There are venues throughout Australia and the United Kingdom.
Walkabout is a friendly pub/nightclub combination with captures the spirit of Australia. Its doors are open all day long and when you visit Walkabout during the day, don't forget to order yourself a kangaroo burger.
At night, Walkabout is a popular venue amongst students with a mixture of music such as Pop, Dance and R&B. If you haven't ordered yourself a 'Snakebite', you haven't been to Walkabout. The Snakebite is a lager topped up with cranberry juice, which will turn the beer red and give it a nice sweet flavour.
Walkabout is conveniently located on Old Christchurch Road, along with many of Bournemouths other night life venues. A taxi stand is right in front of the door so finding your way back home shouldn't be a problem.

If you want to get drunk this is not the bar for you. It takes a long time to order a drink. Thanks to the crowd. The music is good though, Suites everyones taste. (read more)

Good music, gets u dancin. U can feel the bass thru the floor! and it will blow your ear drums haha. cheap drinks, yes there is students there but there is also a lot of different groups like hen parties, stag doos and that kinda fing so its all good (read more)
